{The Meadow Bee Series}

If you set out by foot and head due west from HoneyWillow Manor, past the groves of golden aspen, and farther still beyond to where the forest thins into grasslands, towards the decaying arches of Stella Keep, you will find, surrounded by hedgerow, the meadows in which she who refuses to tell her name... working tirelessly under sunny skies...midst the abundance of wildflowers, season after season...the gathering and the making of her wares...sweet savory honeys from the flora that abide by the turning of the wheel of the year! She's always willing to pour a dash into your tea, and will linger to tell a tale or two...but don't overstay your welcome, as she has much work to do!
Last fall, nearing my last camping trip of the season sometime in October, I anticipated chilly afternoons under rustling leaves, nestled in the most cozy chair, under a blanket by the fireside. This meant I would have quite a few hours of either drawing, reading or crafting, and so I packed up a box of assorted gemstones, wire, and tools.

And for many an hour during those lovely slow days I methodically hand wired my gems and crystals into lovely late summer inspired bracelets which, in my opinion, came out quite lovely and were a joy to make!
